Bezistan and Tašli Han

ghbezistan1Ghazi Husrev-bey's Bezistan was built around 1540. There are two main entrances to the Bezistan. It is a massive stone building, and comprises 70 stores in total. Tašli Han was built around the same time as the Bezistan. It was badly damaged in the 1879 fire. The last remaining parts of the walls perished in 1912.

Ghazi Husrev-bey's Hamam

Gazi Husrev-bey's hamam is located on the Mula Mustafa Bašeskija street, and is the last preserved public bath in this region. It was built after 1537. It has not been used as a bath since 1914. During the 1992-1995 agression it was severely damaged, and was consigned to the Bosniak Institute for public use with the obligation for thorough reconstruction.
